Baby Bottles
When bottle feeding your baby you will need to develop a system that you and your spouse can use to properly nourish your child and balance the load on taking care of your new baby. In many cases breast milk is still used by being first pumped from the mother’s breasts and then refrigerated until the baby is ready to drink it. If you are feeding your child formula instead of breast milk then make sure that you don’t give them regular cow milk until they are at least a year old. You can occasionally use some small amounts in cooking but that is it.
Most formula milk is similar to cow’s milk but it is modified at the factory to make it suitable for the baby’s new digestive system. Many babies and people do not have the tolerance for cow’s milk and then soy milk must be substituted. Formula type milk will be sold in packets or cans where canned milk is usually more expensive but tastes better.
